Raquelle Farquhar
Studio Instructor
Raquelle is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher with additional specialized training in Somatic Yoga (100hrs) and Women’s Health Studies (100hrs).
Her passion is supporting women in reconnecting with themselves, embracing their bodies, trusting their inner wisdom and letting go of the pressures perfectionism.
In addition to her yoga training, Raquelle is a Holistic massage therapist, trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including Thai stem, hot stone, aromatherapy, cupping and Ayurvedic Indian head massage along with reflexology.
Her integrated approach combines mindful movement and body work to nurture both mind and body.
Having personally experienced the challenges of stress and anxiety, Raquelle found her own healing in reconnecting with nature, grounding through gentle, yoga practices, hiking, journaling, and simply by slowing life down. She believes that true balance is discovered in stillness, and that deep healing can be found when we step away from the demands of the world, even in small moments throughout the day.
A lifelong resident of Elliot Lake, where she has lived for over 46 years, Raquelle cherishes time with her family and dogs. She enjoys early-morning walks, kayaking, and time spent with books and writing. Alongside her wellness work, she also serves as an active supply teacher at the Algoma district school board.
Through her work, Raquelle creates safe, welcoming, and supportive spaces for women to explore movement at their own place, stillness and self acceptance. She invites you to step into a practice of gentleness, healing, and reconnection – one breath, one moment, one practice at a time.
