My love for yoga as well as my deep respect and appreciation for its roots and tradition, developed when I began my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Universal School of Yoga in February of 2023. The opportunity for this transformative experience presented itself during an extremely difficult and significant point in my life.
Fortunately, during this challenging period I was able to fully immerse myself and put everything that I had, into the direction that life’s journey was inviting me to explore. The personal transformation through understanding of self, as well as the positive shift in my relationships with others and the world, is not something that I will ever be capable of conveying in words, nor is it something that I will forget or take for granted. The study and practice of yoga has given life to something within me so beautiful and nurturing that has and continues to bring goodness to myself, those around me and to the world. It is this indescribable way of being and understanding of self that I hope to share with others and is my reason and purpose for teaching yoga.
Since completing my 200 Hour YTT, I have continued to study and practice yoga with a fire and intensity that I wasn’t aware I possessed. I believe that our destination is not merely a physical place, but a path to self-discovery, where we prioritize our well-being and nurture personal growth. Every yoga practice offers an opportunity to realign our mind, body, and spirit, and guides us toward a state of peace that extends far beyond the yoga mat. I feel deeply honored and privileged to be a part of your yoga journey and am excited to practice alongside you.
